R.I.P Skip "Wraith" Gossman

RIP - 8/15/2012

Skip was a loved member of Atlanta Phoenix Tactical and joy to have at Carnage Paintball. Nobody will ever be able to replace him so in our hearts we all shall have a hole but in our minds we will always have memories and happiness of the times we had. Love you Skip.... Strength and Honor - Atlanta Phoenix Tactical

Per MDJ Online - Alexander “Skip” Gossman died on Wednesday, August 15th from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Skip was a resident of Kennesaw, GA. Skip left behind his beloved wife, Joanne, and a family that meant everything to him. He is survived by his brother, Rodinal Gossman and Rod’s wife, Joan in Virginia Beach, VA, as well as his brother, Lawrence Richard, in California. Here in Georgia, Skip will be deeply mourned by his stepson, Jesse Evans and his wife Shae, his stepson, Nicholas Evans, and his stepdaughter, Morgen and her husband John. Skip was the Grandfather/ Santa Claus/ Fairy Godfather to four amazing grandchildren, Sydney, Harper, Finley, and Holland. Known to the grandchildren as “Skippety”, he always had a place on his lap and in his heart for each of them. The nickname, “Skippety”, was coined by his niece, Joanna Smith. Skip recently beamed with pride when she began medical school at Mercer University. Skip was a pivotal part of JoJo and her brother’s, Ricky and Dylan’s, young lives. Skip adored his mother-in-law, Jeanne Brawner. He reveled in grilling new tasty recipes for her and taking her out for Friday movie nights. Skip worked as a Sales Executive for SAP America in their Utilities Division. He had enormous respect for the company, their leading edge technology, and for the many people he interacted with there. His career was challenging and he was fueled by that constant challenge. Skip was in Texas and working on behalf of SAP when he was killed. At his request, there will be no funeral or formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at the Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta, web address: www.shepherd.org.
